Frequently asked questions.
Who is Austin W. Duncan?
I’m an associate pastor serving at Crosswalk Church in Brentwood, TN. My work centers on preaching, teaching, and equipping believers to share the gospel.
How often do you publish content?
I publish two series on a weekly schedule: Tuesday (Biblical Teaching Series) and Wednesday (Word for Word). Two other series are published less frequently: Exegetica is published the first Friday of each month, and Forum & Pulpit articles are published as significant world events occur.
What Bible translation do you use?
I reference several reliable translations (e.g., ESV, NIV, NASB, NLT) and note them in sermons and articles when relevant. However, I primarily use the ESV translation.
Can I use your sermon notes or articles in a group?
Yes, for non-commercial church and small-group use with attribution (“Austin W. Duncan – austinwduncan.com”). For wider publishing or paid use, please contact me first.
Do you offer pastoral counseling?
I’m not a licensed counselor. I meet case by case to provide biblical guidance and prayer. When needs require ongoing or clinical care, I refer to trusted and licensed counselors. To request a meeting, use the contact form with a brief summary and your availability.
Do you perform weddings, funerals, or baptisms?
Yes, as part of my pastoral role at the church I serve. I consider requests within a local church context rather than offering services broadly.
Do you do guest speaking/teaching/preaching?
I consider guest preaching, teaching, or speaking on a case-by-case basis when it serves the request. Include the date, venue, topic, and contact details in your message.
